CARDIOLOGY
Cardiology is the medical branch of the heart and circulatory system. Diagnosis
and treatment of diseases that occur directly in the cardiovascular system are
performed rather than diseases affecting the cardiovascular system.
Imaging and analysis methods such as ecg, rhythm holter, blood pressure holter,
ultrasound, MR are used as diagnostic methods which are needed in line with the
complaints of physicians in cardiology diseases.
Cardiology Diseases and Treatment Methods
Coronary Failure Disease and Treatment
Coronary insufficiency is the disease that occurs when the coronary arteries
which feed the heart harden by losing their elastic properties and lose their
characteristics and the heart does not have enough blood. Electrocardiography (ECG),
coronary angiography and myocardial perfusion scintigraphy are used in the
diagnosis of coronary insufficiency. According to the results, treatment of
coronary insufficiency can be treated according to the condition of the patient,
or can be treated with balloon and stend to ensure vessel opening. According to
the medical history of the patient, coronary insufficiency can be treated with
by-pass surgery.
Heart Failure and Treatment
Heart failure is the discomfort that occurs when the heart muscle loses its
function and the heart is unable to fully fulfill its blood pumping task. During
the treatment of heart failure, the diet of the person is very important,
therefore it is attempted to be treated with diuretic drugs that facilitate the
pumping of the heart muscle of the person with a special diet and the pumping of
blood.
Heart Valve Diseases and Treatment
Heart valve diseases are caused by the fact that one or more of the four caps in
the heart are not completely closed or the failure to function due to heart
failure. In the treatment of heart valve diseases, it is generally tried to
strengthen the heart with drugs. It is also treated by surgical operation
according to the patient's condition.
Heart Rhythm, Conduction Disorders and Treatment
The contraction of the heart muscle leads to heart arrhythmia due to impaired
neural conduction of the heart or weakening of the heart muscles, in which heart
beats, blood flow of the heart is slow. Heart rhythm disorders conduction
disorders are examined together. The treatment of heart rhythm and conduction
disorders is primarily treated with medication to normalize heart rate. In the
treatment of rhythm disorders caused by heart valves or heart failure, surgical
treatment is performed when drug treatment is insufficient.
Aortic Vein Diseases and Treatment
Aortic vascular diseases, aortic aneurysm and aortic dissection are examined
under two headings.
Aortic aneurysm
It covers cases where the diameter of the aortic vessel is 2-3 cm in diameter
and larger than 3 cm. Stent may be used in the treatment of aortic aneurysm and
surgical operation is the only condition for narrowing the vessel diameter.
Aortic dissection
The separation and tearing of the inner membrane of the aortic vessel. Aortic
dissection treatment can be performed with a very detailed surgical operation
involving the separation of the separated tissues and suturing.
Peripheral Vascular Diseases and Treatment
Peripheral vascular diseases are the group of diseases that occur as a result of
expansion, narrowing, fracture and branching of veins covering the legs and
veins. Depending on the condition of the person and the disease can be treated
by methods such as narrowing of the veins, stend and balloon insertion.
Hypercholesterolemia and Treatment
Hypercholesterolemia is a type of disease that causes obstruction and hardening
of the vascular system as a result of high cholesterol levels in the body and
blood. Treatment of hypercholesterolemia can be done with drugs or without
treatment. In the treatment of hypercholesterolemia without medication, a diet
based on exercise program and exercise program are applied, and exercise and
nutrition programs are applied together with medication. The treatment method is
determined according to the medical history of the patient.
Hypertension and Treatment
Hypertension is a serious disease that negatively affects the vital functions
caused by the high blood pressure as a result of heart beat. Hypertension
treatment can be provided with medications that control blood pressure. Moreover,
in order to regulate blood pressure, hypertension can be kept under control with
a special diet by changing the exercise and diet.
Congenital Heart Disease and Treatment
Congenital heart diseases are all diseases that occur during the formation and
development of the fetus, including abnormalities in the heart or circulatory
system. These are heart hole sor when heart capacities are not fully developed
and full of aortic vessels.
