RIGHTS OF PATIENTS
The purpose of all these rights is to provide "high levels of human health" in
hospitals and to provide you with high quality health services.
Right to Life
For whatever reason, the right to life of patients cannot be abandoned, no one
can end their lives even if they desire.
Right to take protective measures
Each individual has the right to receive appropriate services for protection
from disease. In order to achieve this goal, the role of health care providers
is to ensure that everyone is benefited from health services, the latest

Right to Benefit
Every individual has the right to benefit from health services to meet their
health needs. Health services (all examinations, diagnosis and treatment) should
be given equally, regardless of language, religion, race, sex or thought, and
should not be discriminated against in terms of type, time, place of residence
or financial resources. Patients with incomplete physical competence should
equally benefit from all rights.
Individuals have the right to benefit within the framework of the laws and
regulations of the country in organ transplantation / experimental research.

Each individual has the right to information about his / her health, current
health services and how to benefit from them, and all scientific research
results and technological innovations. Health services should be given in a way
that is easy to reach by the patient and in the language they will understand.

Right to Access to Medical Records
Patients have the right to receive information about themselves and their

court order.
Individuals have the right to request changes in the medical records of the
disease, treatment process or practices that do not comply with the reality.
With a written request, all medical records of the patient may be sent to him or
to another institution of his choice.
Right of Consent
Each individual has the right to receive information in order to participate in
decisions related to his or her health. This information is essential for any
procedure and treatment. Health care providers must provide information to all
patients, including any information about any surgery or treatment, risks,
problems, side-effects, and alternative treatment options. Patient approval
includes routine procedures.
Unconscious patients under the age of 18 give their parents / guardian consent.

our hospital again, the right to receive the necessary care and treatment
continues.
Right to choose
Every individual with sufficient knowledge has the right to choose between
different treatment methods and those who will provide treatment. The patient,
which diagnosis and treatment method will be used; have the right to decide on
the selection of doctors, specialists or hospitals. Health care services should
show that they have the right to choose the other health care providers, doctors
and patients who are applying this treatment. All barriers that restrict the use
of this right must be removed.
Right to Privacy
Each individual’s personal information; health status, diagnosis and treatment
made in addition to the information on the subject of private visits is to be
kept confidential. The information and data of an individual on the health
condition or treatment applied to him / her should be confidential. The personal
privacy of the patient should be respected during the medical intervention, the
procedure should be carried out in an appropriate environment and should be

visitors).
The Right to Receive Health Care
Each individual has the right to receive the necessary treatment within the

healthcare is not available to patients within a predetermined period of time,
the option to use alternative services of the same quality should be offered and
the expenses arising therefrom must be reimbursed within a reasonable time.

provide information.
Right to Dignity
Every individual has the right to receive health care in an environment where
respect and care are provided, where friendly, gentle, compassionate and healthy
conditions are provided and all noise and disturbing factors are eliminated.
Hospital workers are not entitled to discuss with you. Complaints are resolved
by the patient rights office.
The Right to Fulfill Religious Rights

appropriate.

right to quality health care requires health institutions and health personnel

medical ethics.

according to their personal needs. For this purpose, health services should
provide flexible programs that always keep the right to treatment first.
Right to Complaint
Every individual has a right to complain when he/she is harmed. All employees
interested in patients should inform patients about their rights. The complaint
must be answered orally or in writing by the Patient Rights Unit after a certain
period of time. It has the right to apply to the relevant professional
organizations and courts in accordance with the law.
Right to Compensation
The physical, spiritual or psychological damage of the individual during the
health treatment has the right to receive compensation in a short time. Health
services should know that the right to compensation is always present,
regardless of the cause and importance of the damage, even if it can not be
determined who actually is in charge.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF PATIENTS AND CLOSERS

to be taken, whether they are informed about the medical condition of the
patient and reassessed it with the people responsible for the patient as they
understand the explanations correctly, and should inform them whether or not
they approve the treatment.
It should communicate its questions and opinions to the relevant departments of
the institution on the subjects that are relevant to the health of the patient
and how to reach the relevant departments and how to use them.
Responsibility for Audit and Treatment
In the acceptance phase, patients should inform how and from which institution
the payment will be received.
